Normal forest gate opening times are 8.30am – 5pm, except during daylight saving times where they are open 8.30am – 6pm. Tree Tops Adventure Park is very popular with older kids and adults. If you and your kids want to check it out, it’s up near the Swains Picnic Area. Interpretive signage on the sensory trail encourages the walker to experience the forest and all its wonders with their senses. We also ask all new families to complete a “Getting To Know You” Form, which allows our educators to get to know your child before their start date so we can ensure a smooth transition. Established in 1935 by Miss Winifred Macourt Binnowee began as a small preschool in a private home, set against the backdrop of open farmland where horses and carriages were still a common sight.
