As a working mum, it was incredibly important to me to find a childcare that filled me with confidence when leaving my daughter in their care. She has been with the Y at Pakenham since six months old, and it has been almost a year now; I couldn't recommend the Y enough. Not only are the staff across the whole center amazing with the kids, they genuinely care about your whole family unit.

Children’s brains will develop faster in their first five years of life than at any other stage in their life. Therefore, it is important to provide your child with a nurturing and stimulating environment with a variety of ways for them to grow and learn. Children may attend the services provided they will be three or four years of age for the relevant service, as of 30 April in the year of their attendance. Plenty of natural light and great ventilation – our programs focus primarily on an indoor outdoor style of learning , where children are given more choice as to where they wish to learn. The Learning Sanctuary uses Xplor Home as our family communication app. It is the best and easiest way to keep track of your child’s day.

The educators have done an amazing job throughout the whole entire five years at the Centre. And when there is an issue, they try their best to resolve it as quickly as possible. My daughter absolutely loves the food they supply I think there’s maybe been one or two things over the years that she hasn’t liked.
Children enjoy a variety of foods while gaining confidence in the kitchen. Popular dishes like Chickpea Curry, Creamy Chicken Pasta with hidden vegetables and Pizza Scrolls are amongst the children’s favourites, making each class a delicious adventure! As part of our commitment to fostering healthy habits and a love for fresh food, all Story House services have introduced the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGP).

My passion for early education stems from the opportunity to be creative, make a meaningful impact, and build strong community relationships. Children in our toddler space are encouraged to participate in group play. Group play is important as it helps our toddlers develop important social skills such as, turn-taking, developing self-confidence and emotional self-regulation. Our skilled team helps children through talking, planning and role modelling. At Little Stars, we provide most of the essentials your child needs throughout the day, including healthy meals, nappies, linen, and sunscreen. If your child requires formula or expressed milk, please include that as well.
