In 2010, the seventh centre to open under the umbrella of the Bayswater Child Care Association was the Maylands Out of School Care after a request from the Maylands Peninsula Primary School P&C. Salisbury Child Care Centre is a 47 place centre and care at the centre is divided into three sections, Babies, Toddlers and Kindy room aged 0-5 years. We enrolled our little one at little Jazzy's when she was 8 months and are so. Glad we made the decision to go with them all the staff made the transition super easy and were so accommodating.
I feel incredibly lucky to be leading such a dedicated and experienced team here at Community Kids Bayswater. Many of our educators have been with the centre for several years and bring a wealth of knowledge about the children, families, long daycare kindergarten and local community. What stands out most is their genuine passion for what they do.

Derrick Ernst Neighbourhood Centre is proudly one of only three Occasional Care providers in Perth. This distinctive model makes flexible childcare available to families living and working in surrounding suburbs. Derrick Ernst Neighbourhood Centre has provided flexible and affordable childcare, alongside community engagement and support services, in the Bayswater area since 1985. We are currently looking for qualified ECE teachers who have the energy and compassion to care for each and every one of our children.
As a first time Mum sending my child off to be looked after by someone else was scary - they made everything so easy and supported me every step of the way. A beautiful team of people striving for the same goals - every child reaching their potential. Kindergarten is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development. This happens through carefully planned music, dance, games, role playing and reading experiences. Our toddler room is set up with intentional play-based learning in mind.

Children are competent and capable learners and when they believe in themselves, their potential is limitless. Special mention and thanks to educator Archana who made us very comfortable and supportive with all information on orientation days and initial weeks of my LO starting at the center. Lots of educational and fun activities planned for them (books, painting, music, arts & crafts, physical play), very accommodating of dietary/allergy needs, great communication with the parents. Could not be happier with Nido Bayswater.So clean, the food is amazing and my child LOVES it there! Never a staff shortage, always plenty of supervision and care.Special thanks to Rachael, Grace, Jess and Anna. Our centre chefs prepare a nutritious menu for your child to sit down and eat. This is a great time for everyone to share stories from the day. Educators model healthy eating practices, social behaviours and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines. Since Nido Early School is a government approved childcare provider, if you are eligible for CCS you will be entitled to the new 3 Day Child Care Subsidy Guarantee on your fees. Our curriculum, which is a balance of child led and adult intentional teaching, offers children the opportunity to participate in active learning, whilst having the support and challenge they need from Educators.
