Since Nido Early School is a government approved childcare provider, if you're eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) you can receive a government contribution towards reducing your out-of-pocket fees. From day one, each child is supported by a Key Educator, helping them develop a secure and trusting relationship, which supports their sense of belonging and emotional well-being. Bayswater North Kindergarten is operated by Young Mens Christian Association Of Ballarat Inc, which contributes 1% to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. Bayswater North Kindergarten provides centre-based care for up to 29 approved spaces. Community Kids Bayswater Early Education Centre is operated by G8 Education Limited, which contributes 4% to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. Community Kids Bayswater Early Education Centre provides centre-based care for up to 51 approved spaces. Bayswater Out of School care also opened in 1985 offering Out of School Care and Vacation Care to children 5-12 years of age.

As the children take safe risks in their learning, the educators also encourage their problem solving skills. The curriculum at Nido Early School is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework. Designed to support the children in the early years and as they prepare for the transition to school, the curriculum is play-based and engaging. We believe in providing facilities that are ever evolving to the needs of our children, staff and families. We will endeavour to always look at ways to enhance and improve our environments, both indoors and outdoors. As part of this process, Verified Centres undergo a financial assessment to ensure their reliability and credibility. We maintain an ongoing relationship with Verified Centres and provide them with support so they can offer you fresh and accurate information. Our centre chef prepares and cooks nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. We believe that by encouraging active participation (such as growing their own fruit and vegetables, preparing, and finally cooking!) children learn to appreciate and understand the importance of healthy eating across a wide variety of food.

If you have an infant, we spend one-on-one time with them to establish a connection. We use songs, games, and conversations to strengthen relationships and build language skills. We promote sustainability through practices like maintaining a vegetable garden, worm farm, and composting, as well as using recycle bins to encourage eco-friendly habits among the children.
