I began working in early childhood education in 2013, originally joining Great Beginnings Bayswater as a trainee. In 2026, I returned to Great Beginnings Bayswater as Centre Manager, which has been a meaningful full-circle moment in my career. I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and about supporting children in developing a strong foundation and a lifelong love of learning. Our meals cater to all dietary requirements, and we have a four-week rotating menu that changes seasonally. We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our chef caters for all children’s dietary requirement, preferences and cultural requirements. Our Government-approved Kindergarten program is delivered by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, supporting structured learning and helping children prepare for school. As an incorporated association, BCCA is directed and controlled by a Management Committee (Board). The Committee is made up of voting and non-voting members, representing parents, community members, and staff. Families that use BCCA services are encouraged to join the association as members to nominate and elect representatives. Committee members have legal and ethical responsibilities to ensure the association acts lawfully and is resourced and directed towards achieving its community-focused vision and mission.
